Jacksonville Landing, along the St. Johns River, is popular for shopping and dining. Adventure Landing also beckons with shops, restaurants and ongoing events, and the Tree Hill Nature Center has expanded grounds to more than 70 acres with a 250-seat amphitheater. Bass fishing is big here, along with boating, kayaking, and hiking. As the home to PGA Tours, the Tournament Players Club at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach presents challenging greens for pros and beginners alike.
